This privacy policy explains how eClassy Teacher (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application for teachers and institute administrators.

• Account information: name, phone number, and email address
• Professional data: classes, students, attendance, homework, announcements, payment reminders, and institute membership
• Parent contact data: parent phone numbers and link status when you invite or manage parent access (used to notify parents via the eClassy Class app)
• Device information: FCM token, platform (iOS/Android), and app version
• Usage data: sign-in activity and in-app notification history

3. How we use your information

• To manage classes, students, homework, announcements, and attendance
• To send notifications to you and, where applicable, to linked parents through eClassy Class
• To operate institute features (registration IDs, teacher approvals, subscriptions)
• To keep the service secure and reliable

4. Push notifications

• We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for teacher alerts
• Parents receive separate notifications on the eClassy Class app
• You can disable notifications in the app (Settings) or in device system settings

5. Data sharing

• Student and parent contact information is shared only as needed for school communication between teachers, institutes, and linked parents
• We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and messaging
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties

6. Data retention and deletion

• You can delete your account from Settings → Delete account, which anonymizes your personal account data on our servers

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
