eClassy Teacher – Delete account

This page explains how teachers and institute administrators can delete an eClassy Teacher account and request removal of associated personal data. eClassy Teacher is operated by Bitscy.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)

Open the eClassy Teacher app on your device.
Sign in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is processed immediately. You will be signed out and your personal account data will be anonymized on our servers (name, phone number, email, and other identifying profile information are removed).

Option 2 — Request by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your account (or include your registered phone number so we can verify ownership):

We aim to complete verified email requests within 30 days.

Data that is deleted or anonymized

Your account profile (name, phone number, email address)
Institute membership and teacher role links tied to your personal account
Device tokens used for push notifications to your device
In-app notification history linked to your account

Data that may be retained

Class, student, homework, announcement, attendance, and payment records you created may be retained for legitimate school administration, institute continuity, or legal requirements (your personal identifiers are removed from the account record)
Parent contact information entered for school communication may remain where still needed for active classes and linked parent accounts
Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten during normal system maintenance
Information we must keep to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements

Before you delete

Deleting your account removes your access to classes, students, and institute features tied to that account.
Institute owners should consider transferring administration to another user before deleting, if applicable.
You can sign out instead if you only want to stop using the app temporarily.
