eClassy Class – Delete account

This page explains how parents and guardians can delete an eClassy Class account and request removal of associated personal data. eClassy Class is operated by Bitscy.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open the eClassy Class app on your device.
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Deletion is processed immediately. You will be signed out and your personal account data will be anonymized on our servers (name, phone number, email, and other identifying profile information are removed).
Option 2 — Request by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your account (or include your registered phone number so we can verify ownership):
We aim to complete verified email requests within 30 days.
Data that is deleted or anonymized
- Your account profile (name, phone number, email address)
- Parent–child link associations tied to your account
- Device tokens used for push notifications to your device
- In-app notification history linked to your account
Data that may be retained
- Some school-related records (for example, messages or attendance entries that were already shared with teachers) may be kept in anonymized or aggregated form where required for legitimate school administration or by law
- Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten during normal system maintenance
- Information we must keep to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
Before you delete
- Deleting your account removes your access to homework, announcements, attendance, and payment reminders for linked children.
- You can sign out instead if you only want to stop using the app temporarily.
- To use eClassy Class again later, you will need to create a new account and re-link to your child’s class.
